A new day!

Where is everyone? Seems forever since we've partied! Hopefully, this coming weekend, Memorial Day, will get everyone tother again. Doesn't she look lonely?

Strange and weird

On a trip across Ohio, on the turnpike...we saw these STRANGE trees. In orchards. And can't locate WHAT they are! We were not able to take pics, but I'll try to link to a blog where I found the pic.

Is anyone here?

Yahoo 360 let me down. This is hard to find. Paying for a domain name sucks. What's a blogger to do?

Any suggestions?

Hey there! Well...this is the big shot! From the first annual Shed Saint Patty's Day Bash! A great time was had by all! Thanks to Ran and Deb for the cool favors!

I've now changed my blog setting so that everyone can comment. You don't need to sign up for blogger...but can comment as anonymous! Then just tell me who you are! :-)

I hope that'l work. It might be a little more work here...but it sure beats getting nothing in yahoo. I can't even comment on friends' blogs anymore. It always tells me that the "page is not available". Sigh.

So...it'll have to be here and now...for now.

Work sucked last night. Damn furnace door broke on second shift...and I was left with a big part of the mess. This happens. Just seems to happen a lot. And we are busy. And everyone is just getting fed up with everything. Ya know...you just get tired tring to keep everything running with rubber bands and string. It gets trying on a mind and body. Didn't get lunch last night...or even a 5 minute break to sit down. I don't care about the food...I could really stand to miss a week of meals. But my feet and back are paying the price for no break. And the week is just not half over yet. We are supposed to be off on Friday...we'll see how that works. I have to work 12's next week...on Mond/Tues/Wed. Not the happiest camper about that...but it's part of the job. At least you know in advance...instead of the last minute.

So...there we are. Not much else is new. Just trying to get thru the day. Comment if ya want. I'll listen. lol

Anyway...another week has begun in the 'Dale. Another successful weekend was had in the 'Dale...but I'm tired of riding in a vehicle! Saturday was spent in Dubois. Sunday we took the kid back to IUP. I need a weekend where I don't leave the house! lol

We had the first annual Shed St. Patty's day party. Was fun and sticker-y...and a blast! Thanks to Scottypoo, Ran and Deb for the fun!

Man..I just hate beginning a week. But it should be a short week, because of Good Friday. Let's hope so anyway. Quite a bit of work in the plant...but they didn't see fit to work any of the past couple months...so I'm sure they'll wait til THIS weekend when it's a holiday to finally open their eyes and say "Gee, we might wanna get some of the back log done...let's make the peee-ons work the holiday!".........lol

I wouldn't put it past'em.

So...that's all. Just hangin' and survivin'...and wishin' I had folks to comment on my comments......:-(

ok...le'ts hear it for football season! Is it here yet? Man...can't come soon enough for me. Somehow...NASCAR just don't cut it. lol

Well, everyone survived the first annual SHED SAINT PATTY'S DAY CORNUCOPIA. lol A great time was had by all...all 5 of us! The extra inviteeeeeees didn't make it...so it was just the core group. Ran and Deb brought some WAY cool party favors..consisting of necklaces, shot glasses, lei-s, green mugs that sorta freaked us out with how light they were....lol....and stickers. 'Nuff said on THAT favor. lol

Was an early night for us though...we were all done by 3am. But it was a really good time with the karaoke being sorta worse for ware. lol Sometimes I think I'm getting better...then I start...and it's worse than ever! lol Even my New York, New York was ridiculed as too Elmer Fudd. lol I just can't win. But that's OK...I will keep butchering every song placed before me. And they'll LIKE it! So says I...so it is written, so let it be done!

Well, today will bring ANOTHER trip to Indiana...take the kid back after a week of spring breaking in the 'Dale. Another two months and he's done with his third year in college. Hard to believe.

Yesterday we spent the day browsing and shopping in Dubois. Took in the the Chinese restaurant and bought the boys some new jeans. They are not-so-slowing UNDER growing their collection. Justin is now wearing a 30/30 that could probably stand to be a 29/30. Jordy is a 31/32. And could probably stand a 30/32. Don't know what's happened to these kids. Geeze already. But..they needed the jeans...sorta late in the year...but when ya need pants...you just sorta need them. lol

So, that's about it for the weekend from the 'dale. This'll be a short week coming up...with the Good Friday holiday and all. Wish us luck!

Yahoo 360 is broken for me. My blogs no longer seem to post correctly, and more importantly, my friends can't comment. So...as sad as I seem...I'm leaving 360 for now. I'm hopin' they change things so my blogs will survive...but I just don't know.

I don't think I"m like this though...miss the social networking of yahoo.

Sigh.
